mcp server
Your stash, inside every AI you use.
Add Stash to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any app that speaks MCP. Sign in once, approve it, and your AI can search everything you’ve saved: the article’s text, the video’s transcript, the words in your screenshots.
https://www.gostash.it/mcp
Read-only. Your AI can search and read what you’ve saved, never change or delete it.
Add it to your app
Every app asks you to sign in to Stash the first time, and you approve it there. Then it’s connected until you say otherwise.
- Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Paste the server URL and choose Connect.
- Claude opens Stash: sign in and approve.
- Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced, and turn on Developer mode.
- Add a custom connector with the server URL.
- Sign in to Stash and approve.
claude mcp add --transport http stash https://www.gostash.it/mcp
Then open /mcp, pick stash and sign in.
{ "mcpServers": { "stash": { "url": "https://www.gostash.it/mcp" } } }
Cursor asks you to sign in the first time it uses Stash.
{ "servers": { "stash": { "type": "http", "url": "https://www.gostash.it/mcp" } } }
Windsurf, Goose, Raycast and any other app that supports remote MCP servers: add the server URL, and sign-in opens in your browser.
What your AI can do
Two things, both read-only. Because Stash already read, watched and listened to your saves, your AI gets the substance, not a pile of bare links.
search_stash- Search your saves by meaning, and narrow by type, tag or when you saved them.
get_item- Read one save in full: what Stash gathered about it, its summary, and your own notes.
searchfetch- The same two, in the shape ChatGPT expects.
You stay in charge
An app can search and read what you’ve saved. It can’t add, change or delete anything.
Nothing connects until you sign in to Stash and say yes to that app.
Every search and read shows up in Settings, under Connected agents, where you can revoke an app at any time.
